The Story
The story in Command&Conquer
is that Nod terrorists are attacking cities all over
the world and the GDI have been
set up to protect the people from nod. There are about
Which is a satellite that fires
this high energy beam. It is like that President guy who
wanted to make this that satellite
for destroying cruise missiles. C&C also can let you have
Nuclear Bombs and unlike Red alert
these Nukes are a lot more powerful.
The story behind Red alert is since
Albert Einstein hated the second world war he
invented a time machine and he
went back in time before hitler came to power and zapped him
away to another time so he would no
start the second world war so instead the germans starting
the war the soviets started the
war and so in this game you get a mixture of old weaponry
like the yak attack planes and
new weaponry like tesla coils which is a xmas shaped building
which fires electricity like things.
The only downfall of this building is it's high cost and high
power usage but it can be changed
with a good editor.
Red Alert V C&C
When Comand&Conquer came out
it changed the way we play real time strategy games with it's revolutionary
graphics and superb Ai player which wouldn't just throw tanks at you but
actually have a plan on how to kill you and it would probe to find weak
spots and the game would go on and get harder and harder as the levels
got higher and better technology became available the only downturn of
this game that i can think of is the fucked up Gdi ending where the enemy
commander is walking along in his building and a big piece of metel hits
him on the head because of the Gdi bombing. The Nod ending is much better
with Nod getting control over the Ion cannon and you get to choose 1 in
5 places around the world to blow up. You have a choice from all the famous
places like big ben, buckingham palace, The white house and a few others
and you get a picture of it blowing up. Meanwhile the Red alert endings
are all crap with in the soviets ending they all shoot each other and cane(the
bad dude from C&C) saying how they will form The Brotherhood of Nod
and the allied ending which i have not seen bu have been told that they
say to stop anymore wars like this they will form the Global defense inicitve.
The other way C&C gave Red Alert a good kicking was the game play.
For all those people who have just played Red Alert and have not experienced
C&C i feel sorry for you. Oh Yeah Cammand & Conquer is also one
game that still can be classafied as having good graphics because Westwood
studios is continualy upgrading it. With that out of the way we can only
wait and see what C&C 2 Tiberium Sun will be like.
